For general purposes, standard corrugated cartonboard is often good enough. However, when better properties are required, the performance of the board can be improved tremendously by applying the right liner.



The inside liner or outside liner is provided with the desired properties by using a paperbased laminate.
It has to be paperbased in order to avoid productionproblems in the corrugator. Meuwissen developed a wide variety of special purpose liners. In a combination with virgin Kraftpaper, recycled testliner or printable white paper, a special layer is added to make the cartonboard suitable for diffirent types of applications.
