Mould appeared to be a serious ill maker in the last decades. Over 65 % of allergic deseases are caused by mould. By the ever increasing demand for thicker insulation, the risk of mould increases rapidly by the lack of moisture control and poor ventilation.

Reflective insulation has been a specialism for Meuwissen since 1975. In this year we launched our first aluminium faced bubble pack product called Alkreflex 2L-2. By reflecting more than 90 % of the infrared radiation in a cavity, an intelligent way of insulating was introduced. The success of this product was the basis of a wide variety of reflective insulating foils and membranes introduced to the market.
