Reflective insulation has been a specialism for Meuwissen since 1975. In this year we launched our first aluminium faced bubble pack product called Alkreflex 2L-2. By reflecting more than 90 % of the infrared radiation in a cavity, an intelligent way of insulating was introduced. The success of this product was the basis of a wide variety of reflective insulating foils and membranes introduced to the market.

The reflective insulating membranes offer excellent insulation solutions both for new buildings as well as for renovation of existing insulation installed in the seventies.
Meuwissen was the first to introduce renovation insulation systems.

Dupont has selected Meuwissen as their partner to introduce and support their Enercore reflective system in the Benelux market.

Miofol 170 AG was launched in 2005. The product is a strong and true contribution to energy savings in a construction. The 170 AG concept was tested thouroughly by TNO in Delft who confirmed that this breathable membrane adds at least 0.5 m2K/W extra insulation to your construcion. This can be achieved without changing anything to your construction. Magic? No just bringing the right theories into practice.
