Key technology for Meuwissen is extrusion coating and extrusion laminating.
Polymers like Polyethelyne, polypropelyne and their variations are processed. Resins are guided from the silo into the grafimetric mingle systems, into the extruder hoppers. From there the extruders take over. By intensive electric heating in combination with the shear, generated by a set of metal spindels, the polymers transfer into liquid. PE is processed within a temperature range of 250 - 330 degrees Celcius.

Our co-extruder can produce a 320 cm wide coating film. If needed, the film can be a co-ex (2 layer).

The extruder production lines can guide up to 3 diffirent substrates at one time through the laminatorpart. The extruded polymer film will be poored out in between these subtrates and melt them together in a line speed up to 250 m per minute.
