Meuwissen is a western European production company. All our activities have to be in compliance with the very strict environmental laws of the Netherlands. This is controlled by local authorities by means of frequent audits on site.

Meuwissen is an independant, family owned company. The environmental footprint is therefore not only a matter of general responsability. The well being of our environment now and in the future is in the interest of all of us.

No hazardous chemicals, gasses or radiation what so ever are expelled into earth's atmosphere by our plants. Paper creping, PE extrusioncoating, slitting and rewinding as well as the production of bubblefilm are basicaly environmental friendly processes.

Production waste is unavoidable in our process. However, programs are followed to decrease the volume of waste every year. This results in a cleaner environment and it makes the product cheaper. Furthermore our waste is separated in diffirent flows in order to make recycling easier.

Meuwissen feels the commitment to the environment. Products are constantly under evaluation for their impact on the environment.

Packaging will be waste in the end but meanwhile a sustainable protection against the environment is delivered to your product. Last but not least, we believe that our efforts to launch new thermal insulating products are good examples of sustainable building solutions which are generally helping to save energy and fuel. It will help to make your carbon footprint a little bit smaller.
